We hosted a Mentorship Room session dedicated to unlocking leadership potential and guiding applicants through the journey for the YALI RLC West Africa Cohort 47 on Sunday, January 28, 2024. Approximately 17 to 20 participants joined us for this empowering event, and the feedback confirmed that the session was highly insightful.
Drafting the Perfect CV/Resume
We conducted a Mentorship Room online discussion focused on drafting the perfect CV/resume on April 7, 2024. This session aimed to accelerate job readiness and help participants take the next step toward their dream careers. We were pleased to have 13 to 15 participants join us for this valuable event.
Unlock Your Entrepreneurial Potential
We hosted an inspiring and empowering mentorship session with the award-winning entrepreneur Miss Portia Dumba. As a professional teacher, founder of Pordu Care Enterprise, Vice President of SheLeads Social Movement, and project coordinator for Sisters Keepers, Miss Dumba shared her journey and valuable insights on unlocking entrepreneurial potential for young people. We were excited to welcome approximately 17 passionate youths who joined us for this enlightening event.

We recently hosted an inspiring and empowering mentorship session with Wendy Sung-Suma, who is a biochemist and faculty member at Academic City University, also the founder and CEO of Dyluri Beauty, a Ghanaian lip gloss brand, and Crochet Khaleesi, a slow fashion handmade brand.Wendy shared valuable insights from her journey. On May 19, 2024, we had the pleasure of learning from Wendy as she provided guidance on unleashing entrepreneurial potential. We were thrilled to see a large number of enthusiastic youths join us for this impactful session.
Leading from Within: Empowering the Leader Within You
On June 30, 2024, we hosted an inspiring Mentorship Room session with Marjorin Whitney Parker-Allotey, focusing on "Leading from Within." Marjorin is a multi-talented professional with extensive expertise in operations management, leadership, and community engagement. We were deeply inspired by her insights and thrilled to see a fantastic turnout for this empowering session
Insights from The Ghana Civil Society Forum 2024
On July 7, 2024, we hosted a special online meeting where we shared insights from The Ghana Civil Society Forum 2024 held in Accra. Our leader, Josephine N. Pollu, represented the club at the forum and had the opportunity to engage with young people and mentors from across the country. She gathered valuable knowledge about non-profit organizations and shared these insights with us, along with contributions from other CSO leaders. The session was both fun and interactive, offering a wealth of information and engagement.
