Visit to Nindo-Waala Community

The Willma Youth Club (WYC), in partnership with the CAMFED Association's Jirapa cluster, recently visited Nindo-Waala on Thursday, September 19, 2024. During our visit, we engaged in meaningful discussions on sexual and reproductive health and rights, empowering both young women and men with valuable knowledge

In addition to our discussions, we donated reusable sanitary pads to 43 girls, supporting them during their menstrual cycles and promoting sustainable menstrual health practices. This initiative reflects our commitment to fostering a healthier, more informed community.

Our visit also aimed to break the stigma surrounding menstrual health, encouraging open conversations about these essential topics. By creating a supportive environment, we hope to inspire confidence and resilience among the youth, enabling them to advocate for their health and well-being.
